Co-Principal: Swish Fareham

Hi, my name is Christian James, and I’m also a Principal here at Swish, Fareham.

I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2014 and have worked professionally ever since.

I’ve appeared in West End shows such as ‘Magic Goes Wrong’. Hit UK & International touring shows such as ‘Dirty Dancing’, ‘The Commitments’ and ‘Peter Pan Goes Wrong’. I’ve also performed in regional plays such as ‘Fighting Irish’ at the Coventry Belgrade and as Romeo in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ for the Guildford Shakespeare Company. In 2022, I filmed ‘The Enfield Poltergeist’ for Apple TV.

I am thoroughly excited to be opening the new Swish school with my partner, Lesley and we cannot wait to meet all of the new arrivals.”

“Hi, my name is Lesley and I’m one of the two Principals at Swish, Fareham.

I graduated from Performance Preparation Academy in 2018 on the Acting for Stage & Screen course. Since then I have been working professionally in the industry both on the stage and the screen.

I started life as a young carer and because of that I have taught at different schools ranging from SEN and ESMH schools to Drama for Theatre and Acting for Film classes at a number of primary schools. I have also spent time coaching and securing young people places at the UK’s top drama schools.

I’m thrilled to run my own Swish Theatre School and work with all of your amazing children with my partner and co-principal, Christian.”
